David has worked in the family business since 1970. He has overseen significant changes in his business and helped it grow from a two bay to a five bay garage to keep up with the needs of his customers. He graduated with honors from NH Technical College with an AAS degree in Automotive Technology. He has since achieved ASE Master Certification, Advanced Level ASE Drivability Certification, plus several Body and Heavy Truck ASE Certifications. Dave is also AC Delco trained and certified and Mobile Air Conditioning Society certified. In 2001 he received the Accredited Automotive Managers Degree, one of only four in New Hampshire. Dave is constantly trying to find new ways to improve his business for the better of his employees and customers. When Dave is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and two grown daughters, riding or working on his motorcycles, camping and doing just about anything in the outdoors.
Tony Dow, ASE Master Technician, Associate Applied Science- Automotive Technology
Tony is a solid individual and a great technician. He has worked in the business and for Marshall's Garage since 1985, starting after receiving his AAS degree in Automotive Technology from NH Technical College. He is also an ASE Master, Advanced Level Technician and holds several ASE Certificates in Heavy Truck and Body. Tony is Professional Level NAPA Certified, Mobile Air Conditioning Society Certified and is an AC Delco Master Technician. When it comes to fixing cars...Tony knows his stuff. Jeff Chaplain, Certified Level Volvo Technician, ASE Certified Technician
A NH Native, Jeff attended Keene State College for two years before transferring over to NH Technical College in Manchester for the Automotive Department. He graduated from there with an AAS Degree in Automotive Technology. Jeff worked in several independent facilities before going to Volvo where he worked for the last six years before coming to Marshall's Garage. He has strong Volvo and multi-brand knowledge due to his experience in independent and dealership environments. Jeff is outgoing and fun to work with and has proven to be a real asset to Marshall's Garage. Oh...and he likes to work on and ride his motorcycles and Rokon...yes that's what I said, Rokon.
Mike Kozikowski, Associate Applied Science- Automotive Technology
A recent graduate of Vermont Technical College, Mike is plying his new skills here with us. Since he has been working here as an intern during the summers while he was in college, you'll probably recognize his everpresent smile. While already MACS Certified, Mike has taken and passed several of his ASE Certification tests and as soon as he fulfills his full-time work prerequisite, he will be certified in several areas. Mike is a local guy that loves cars and loves to work on them. With an extremely rigid work ethic, Mike makes work look easy.
Gail Murphy, Service Advisor/Customer Support
Arriving in New Hampshire in 1979, Gail thought she would be a snow bunny for awhile... Shortly after that, she entered the real world, and worked in customer service, education and logistics for several local area businesses. Gail has very good communication skills, and since she has been "on the other side of the counter" taking care of her own vehicles, she understands the concerns and yes...fears of taking your vehicle in for service. She will help you to have an experience that is smooth and as enjoyable as possible. Besides that, Gail is a fabulous cook and sometimes brings in some mouth watering delight to share with us(and anyone lucky enough to be here).
Dave Royle, Service Advisor/Customer Support
Yes, you heard that right...after a rewarding 30+ year career of teaching in both the Kearsarge and Concord School Districts, Dave decided it would be fun to work with us. But it turns out, it's fun to work with Dave. His incredibly optimistic, jovial attitude about everything, rubs off on everybody he comes in contact with. We've turned the tables on him and now he's the student learning about the automotive world and we're all having fun doing it. But in all seriousness, Dave is a caring, conscientious person who helps us in many ways and can help you with your car care.
Phil Sprague, Customer Service/Service Advisor, Associate Applied Science- Automotive Technology
As a former local auto repair business owner and Subaru Technician, Phil understands the technical details of whats going on with your vehicle and can communicate them to you in a manner that's understandable and helpful. Sometimes there can be a gap between what the technician says and what's communicated to a vehicle owner. Phil has the skills to make this information customer friendly, and the personal knowledge to help you make the right decisions to insure proper care of your vehicle, depending on what your needs and budget are.
Carla Marshall, Service Advisor/Customer Support
Carla has worked for Marshall's Garage off and on over the last 25 years. You probably noticed the name similarity -- yes, she is married to the boss, but that doesn't afford her too many privileges. Carla has owned her own retail store and worked in the banking and real estate business prior to her association with us and is a licensed massage therapist. She is what we call a finisher, a stickler to detail. You can be sure when you ask us to do something, Carla makes sure it gets done. She loves to spend time with her family and friends, hike, ride motorcycles, read and travel.
Katie Cook, Customer Support/Bookkeeper
Katie graduated in May of 2004, from the University of NH with a degree in Accounting. Soon after that, she obtained her real estate license while working for Coldwell Banker Milestone. While at Marshall's Garage Katie will be helping out with a wide variety of tasks from advertising and technology to research and bookkeeping. Katie is very people-oriented, wanting to help make every person's experience here a positive one. Outside of the office Katie enjoys photography and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
